Crystal Garden is a unique community light installation created with the participation of visitors to the Zsolnay Light Festival. Made up of illuminated crystals, the garden forms a peaceful and meditative space where collective creativity meets light.
Throughout the festival, anyone can create their own crystal. Workshop leaders and volunteers will assist participants with tracing, cutting, folding and assembling the templates, so no previous experience is required.
As we work with hot glue guns, children under the age of 12 may only participate under parental supervision.
Each completed crystal becomes part of the shared light garden. After the festival closes, on the morning of July 6, participants may take home the lantern they created, allowing a piece of this collective artwork to continue shining in their own homes.
Come and create with us, help build the Crystal Garden, and take home a piece of shared light!
Workshop leaders:
Dorottya Kanics, Jutka Vörös and Réka Helmli
Participation is free of charge.
