DJ Nándesz is Editor-in-Chief of Tilos Radio and host of the programme Szigorúan Ellenőrzött Beatek (Strictly Controlled Beats). Some DJs simply play tracks one after another; others approach selection as an art form. Nándesz belongs firmly to the latter category. A true musical connoisseur, he is renowned for his impeccable taste and carefully curated journeys through sound.
Papa is a sound engineer and DJ who hosts the Cökxpôn Ambient programme on Tilos Radio. Rather than merely mixing records, he creates dense sonic tapestries and ritual-like atmospheres that soothe the soul while gently expanding consciousness through rhythm. During the summer festival season he regularly performs and works as a sound engineer at underground music events across Hungary.

Live DJ sets—often played from vinyl—and fearless, unconventional content thrive here, giving voice to ideas and sounds rarely heard elsewhere. No investors stand behind the station. Instead, more than 300 dedicated volunteers keep it alive purely out of passion.

The station is funded primarily through listener donations, tax-designation contributions, merchandise sales and the legendary annual Tilos Marathon festival.
