In this collaborative fire-theatre production by Tűzmadarak and Flame Flowers, the performers embark on a journey in search of a legendary creature.
Along the way, we sense the vibration of its dance, discover the feathers it has shed, witness wounds healed by its tears, and become part of its rebirth.
The performance was inspired by the unexpected loss of their friend, the internationally acclaimed fire dancer Linda Farkas. The motif of the phoenix draws directly from her extraordinary artistic legacy.
As the grand finale of the anniversary edition of the Zsolnay Light Festival, the hosts of Ember Nest, Tűzmadarak, take over the space one final time. After four days of fire, light and community, the festival concludes with a spectacular celebration where flames, movement and visual storytelling unite in a powerful closing performance.
