The audiovisual infrastructure of the Sound Dome offers a lot of potential opportunities, not only for creators, but also for educational institutions, most of them on an international level. It is no coincidence that Budapest has become an increasingly prominent location of the sound art scene in the last few years. Many creators specializing in multi-channel systems, legendary electronic music artists and composers, visual and media artists are interested in creating content designed for the sound dome. In addition to the fact that the House of Hungarian Music expands its repertoire month by month with the works of renowned artists, it considers it important that future creators also have the opportunity to get to know the system, and to gain exclusive experience by using it, and thus become serious professionals.
This is why the House of Music Hungary has launched long-term collaborations with both Hungarian and foreign art universities, in the framework of which students can experiment with immersive content on the sound dome system as part of the curriculum.
The first two films presented now were presented at the Hackaton event organized by MOME, while the 3rd film is one of the exam films of the animation department of METU, which is included in the selection of short exam films of the Hangdome Animation.

Lands of Dome: Czech Republic (selection)
The Lands of Dome international audiovisual program series invites renowned and emerging artists from different cultures to present their works at the Sound Dome. The programmes are implemented in cooperation with the institutes representing the given country. The second guest of the series is the Czech Republic, from where electronic music creators were involved with the help of the Czech Centre. We can now see a work from this selection of contemporary sound and visual art.
